Purchasing Options Coordinator

Job Duties
  • Maintain HomeFront option database, including option costs, descriptions and set up information
  • Update option costs for each vendor as necessary
  • Coordinate option sales price entries with Envision and Design Center Staff
  • Perform periodic option margin reviews to ensure proper margins are being met
  • Price individual option requests related to buyer requests or new options requested from Design Center
  • Price and process all hard surface finish items per buyer selections
  • Create and maintain pertinent option files on company server and related data bases
  • Assist Purchasing Manager in bidding process as it relates to options for new plans/projects
  • Assist Purchasing Department with issuance of option change orders to vendor
  • Create option photo catalogs and presentations when required
  • Assist Purchasing Department with other duties as needed
Job Experience
  • Minimum of five years’ experience working as an Options Coordinator in a home builder environment
  • Construction knowledge experience in order to price more complicated options
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
